Way Too Early 2023 NBA Draft Top 10 Players

The NBA Draft in 2022 is in the rear view mirror. Free agency and trades will begin on Thursday, June 30 at 6 p.m. ET. There are front offices that are going to want to tank the 2022-2023 season for a special prize. NBA teams who will be bad next season will want to aim for a generational talent. So, who are the Top 10 NBA prospects for the 2023 NBA Draft?

1.Victor Wembanyama, C, France

This is the prize that every general manager wants next season. Victor Wenbanyama is a generational talent and his highlight film is something to behold. He is 7’2″ and weighs 209 lbs. Wembanyama is drawing comparisons to Kristaps Porzingis, but a lot better version of him though.

2. Scoot Henderson, PG, G-League Ignite

This is the second-best prospect supposedly for next year’s NBA Draft. Scoot Henderson is compared to be Russell Westbrook in his prime. Henderson is 6’3″ and weighs 195 lbs. He is a very athletic guard though.

3. Nick Smith, SG, Arkansas

This will be the third-best prospect in the NBA Draft for 2023. He is a primed scorer but not a very explosive athlete. Nick Smith is being compared to Gilbert Arenas. Smith is 6’4″ and weighs 170 lbs though.

4. Dariq Whitehead, SF, Montverde (Duke)

Dariq Whitehead will be a freshman in college next season and will be another talented Duke basketball player. He is projected to be the fourth-best prospect in the 2023 NBA Draft. Whitehead is drawing comparisons to Bradley Beal. Dariq Whitehead is 6’4″ and weighs 196 lbs. He is smooth, athletic, and talented and fits with today’s 3 and D wings.

5. Anthony Black, PG, Arkansas

Black is projected to be the fifth-best prospect in the 2023 NBA Draft. He is a big guard at 6’7″ and weighs 185 lbs. Anthony Black can shoot from three and play above the rim. He is a great passer and draws comparisons to Josh Giddey though.

6. Cameron Whitmore, SF, Villanova

Whitmore has been rising up on draft boards during spring and summer ball. He could be the best player for Villanova next season. Cameron Whitmore is 6’7″ and weighs 220 lbs. He is drawing comparisons to DeMar DeRozan though.

7. Keyonte George, SG, Baylor

George is going to be a big explosive guard. He is 6’5″ and weighs 205 lbs. Keyonte George is a player who likes to be ball-dominant and play iso. He is drawing comparisons to Eric Gordon though.

8. Ausar Thompson, SG, Overtime Elite pro league

Ausar Thompson has ideal size and big-time athleticism for the position at 6’7″ and weighs 190 lbs. He is going to be electric once he gets to the NBA. Thompson draws comparisons to Jason Richardson and Terrance Ross.

9. Amen Thompson, SG, Overtime Elite pro league

Amen Thompson is the twin brother of Ausar Thompson. He is also 6’7″ and weighs 190 lbs. Amen Thompson is also an explosive athlete at his position though.

10. Jarace Walker, PF, Houston 

Jarace Walker is 6’8″ and weighs 220 lbs. He is a forward with broad shoulders and brute strength. Walker is expanding his offensive game and becoming a good iso-scorer as well. Walker is drawing comparisons to Paul Milsap though.
