Treylon Burks: Turning Heads In Tennessee Titans Training Camp

The Tennessee Titans seem to have a number one wide receiver at the helm for the 2022 season and his name is not A.J. Brown. His name is Treylon Burks, who was a first-round pick out of Arkansas in the 2022 NFL Draft. Burks is going to be looking to turn heads from day one in this league and make his mark. He has heard the outside noise of how A.J. Brown should have never been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason though.

This is unfair to Treylon Burks and he has a lot of pressure to get the job done. The only problem with him is his asthma, but that is about it. Burks has made defensive backs look foolish in training camp and he is so strong. Treylon Burks is going to be a threat in the red zone to score touchdowns and outjump defensive backs. Ryan Tannehill is very good at throwing the deep ball and forcing feed him the ball won’t be an issue either.

Treylon Burks played in 12 games last season with the Arkansas Razorbacks in the SEC conference though. He caught 66 passes for 1,104 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns. Burks averaged 16.7 yards per catch. He also rushed for 112 yards on 14 carries and one touchdown. Treylon Burks averaged 8.0 yards per carry. He is going to be a threat as a rookie wide receiver in fantasy football. He also is 6’3″ and weighs 225 lbs though.

Burks may not be a pick in the early rounds, but he is going to be worth a selection in the mid-to-late rounds though depending on the league format you’re in. Treylon Burks hopes he can become an A.J. Brown-like wide receiver right away for the Tennessee Titans. He knows that he is going to have to perform out of the gate and this is motivating him. However, if Treylon Burks does not perform from day one, the boo birds and the fanbase is going to let him hear it though.
