The Los Angeles Rams have released veteran linebacker Bobby Wagner. The 32-year-old was signed by the Rams to a 5-year, $50 million contract last March. The team frees up that $50 million in cap space by releasing him.
The Denver Broncos have decided to hire Vance Joseph as their defensive coordinator. The 50-year-old spent the last 4 seasons as the defensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals.
The Detroit Lions are reportedly close to finalizing a multi-year contract extension with defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn. The 50-year-old has been with the team since the start of the 2021 season.
NBA
Nikola Jokic pulled off his 13th triple double in 16 games and help lift the Denver Nuggets over the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-109. The 28-year-old put up 24 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists. This was his 22nd triple double putting him on top of the NBA.
The Atlanta Hawks have entered into formal discussions with former Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder, in hopes to fill their head coach vacancy. Snyder was previously an assistant in Atlanta in 2013-2014, before he spent 8 seasons as the head coach of the Utah Jazz, he stepped down in June of 2022.

The Boston Bruins have landed forward Garnet Hathaway and defenseman Dmitry Orlov from the Washington Capitals in return they will receive forward Craig Smith, a 2023 1st-round pick, a 2025 2nd-round pick, and a 2024 3rd-round pick.
Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 30 shots making it his 73rd career shutout, putting him in the 12th spot on the NHL career shutouts list. The Minnesota Wild beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-0 on Thursday night, giving them their 4th straight win.
