Three Possible Candidates the New York Giants Can Select 25th Overall in NFL Draft

The NFL Draft will be held tomorrow on Thursday, April 27th thru Saturday, April 29th. The New York Giants will own the 25th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. General manager Joe Schoen recently upgraded the draft room and modernized it.

On the recent video of Giants' life on YouTube, here it is with the new draft room being updated. https://twitter.com/Doug_Analytics/status/1651030153609244673

I am also currently running a first-round mock draft on PFF. With the 25th pick, there are some players that can help the New York Giants immediately. Who are some of those players?

Quentin Johnson, WR, TCU

Johnson is a very explosive wide receiver. If he is available at this spot, there is no doubt that the New York Giants would probably go this route. Quentin Johnson is a game-breaker and he showed that for TCU in the college football playoff.

He has great hands and runs great routes. Johnson had 60 receptions for 1,069 yards receiving and six touchdowns and averaged 17.8 yards per catch. He would be another weapon for quarterback Daniel Jones.

O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida

The New York Giants need help on the interior offensive line and he is probably the best available option at this position in the 2023 NFL Draft. Their tackles are set for the long haul with Andrew Thomas and Evan Neal. The interior offensive line still isn't settled and it still gave up a ton of pressure from within.

O'Cyrus Torrence played in a very good SEC conference and has been a hard worker his whole life and is 6'5" and weighs 330 lbs. He is a very good pass blocker and run blocker.

Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College

The New York Giants have also given wide receiver Zay Flowers a look. He caught 78 passes for 1,077 yards and 12 touchdowns, along with averaging 13.8 yards per catch. Flowers will feel more of a possession receiver rather than a game-breaker himself.

He could be more of a late-round first-rounder to an early second-round pick. The wide receivers in this class because of Zay Flowers and others are tricky.

The pick I would make if I was general manager Joe Schoen in this situation for the New York Giants in the 2023 NFL Draft: Quentin Johnson, WR, TCU.
