Coral missed the last 2 series of their pre-season game against the New England Patriots after being stepped on and suffering a foot injury. After having xrays it was determined that he has suffered a Lisfranc foot injury.

  1. New York Jets linebacker Quincy Williams was handed a $10,609 fine for an out of bounds late hit on Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts during last week’s preseason game.

  1. Kenny Pickett’s 2nd preseason game proved to be as impressive as his 1st. The Steelers rookie quarterback completed 6 of 7 for 76 yards and a touchdown beating Jacksonville 16-15 on Saturday night.

  1. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa played just 2 series in his preseason debut, completing 6 of 8 for 58 yards. Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jarrett Stidham led a touchdown drive on the team’s very 1st possession. The Raiders beat the Miami Dolphins 15-13 in Saturday’s preseason game.

  1. Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Dustin May made his return from Tommy John surgery and was dominate through 5 innings. This was May’s 1st start since May of 2021, he gave up just 1 hit, struck out 9, walked 2 and retired the last 13 batters.  Will Smith and Justin Turner both contributing 3-run homers lifting the Dodgers to their 7-0 shutout win over the Miami Marlins.
