Red Sox : Devers is Garret Coles Daddy

Garret Cole on the hill Devers goes yard, it's a time honored tradition. As it stands right now Raffy Devers has 7 home runs and 16 RBI off the Yankee’s “Ace” that's twice as many round trippers as he has off anyone in his MLB career,

It took two months of the 2023 MLB season to get these two teams together, that's a sin in itself. In 13 starts Cole had gone unbeaten his record stood at (7-0) this morning he woke up (7-1) he gave up 2 earned on 7 hits and got slapped with the first L of the season in the 13 times these two rivals will clash in 2023. Garrett Whitlock on the other hand gets the W. Whitlock went 6 ⅓ scattering 7 hits while striking out 6 while walking just 1 batter. He lifted his record to (3-2).

Triston Casas of all people got the scoring started with a two out single to right field, scoring Devers from second in the fourth inning. Devers homered ( of course ) to left center in the sixth to make it 2-0. Josh Donaldson of the ( I can’t stand you Donaldson’s ) went yard in the bottom half to cut it to 2-1. And Kike Hernandez went yard in the seventh to make it 3-1. The Yankee’s made it interesting in the ninth but couldn't get closer than 3-2 Jansen managed to work around 2 hits to notch his 14th save of the year.

Whitlock The former Yankee prospect ( had to get that in there ) was dominant shutting down the Yanks in what has to be his best performance of the season. With the news earlier in the day that Chris Sale was being moved to the sixty day DL this has to be a jolt in the arm for the old town team who are languishing in last place in the AL East. That move and Whitlock’s performance last night has to solidify his spot in the rotation going forward. Tanner Houck (3-5) will take the hill tonight vs Domingo German (3-3) at 7:35 in the boogie down Bronx.
