Red Sox Chris Sale Breaks Wrist in Bike Accident out for 2022

first time in years that chris sale has been "successful" at anything https://t.co/P1tv2RACGx — Emerson Lotzia, Jr. (@EmersonLotzia) August 9, 2022

Chris Sales 2022 season is over, Anyone surprised ? Bueller ? Bueller ? What I want to know now is …..What the hell is a Six Foot Six man with a broken pinky doing on a bicycle anyway ? The Sox announced today that Sale has undergone successful surgery to repair his right wrist. I can’t anymore with Chris Sale people I  just can’t

This is Chris Sale. He's one of the most talented pitchers in baseball. His defect is that he can't ride a bike. pic.twitter.com/dhLvIb6rP6 — Action Network (@ActionNetworkHQ) August 9, 2022

I was reminded today by a good friend that I should just live in the fact that In 2018 Sale was instrumental in the Sox winning the World Series. Sale tossed five innings and had an ERA of 5.40 in that magnificent 4-1 drubbing of the Dodgers. To be honest he was amazing that year.. 12-4 with a 2.11 ERA and he struck out 237 batters in 150’ish innings. Dave Dombrowski promptly extended his trade acquisition with a five year 145 million dollar extension.. Yea

Every time there’s Chris Sale news pic.twitter.com/DrrFz8bWUC — LouAye🐐🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆IFB (@LouAye_) August 9, 2022

Since that fateful day when pen was put to ink Sale as the Red Sox ace missed the end of the 2019 season with left elbow inflammation, then underwent Tommy John surgery before 2020 season that knocked him out until August of 2021. Then he missed most of the beginning of this season with a right rib stress fracture before finally returning to the active roster on July 12. Just two games in, Sale fractured his left pinky in a game against the New York Yankees that required surgery. When you think about it. No wonder John Henry doesn’t want to pay anyone.

I am never one to get down on  players when they get injured,

you can not rip a man or woman apart for injuries. We aren’t talking about Jacoby Ellsbury here. These are legit. It’s not my hammy is a little tight today, coach.  or my big toe on the drive leg just doesn’t feel right. With the exception of the McRib that took six months to heal ( could someone pick my eyes up, they just rolled across the floor ) these are all heart wrenching moments in the career of a man who may have been heading to Cooperstown one day.

Wave if your season is over because you broke your wrist riding a bike. pic.twitter.com/LASvSE9PpJ — Red (@SurvivingGrady) August 9, 2022

Personally I never thought Sale was going to make it back to the mound this year. Well not get back and be effective. Not Chris Sale. As i said i can’t get on a player for getting injured. What I can do is blame a player for falling off his bike…. Next time send a flunky or call UberEATS Jackass
