Projected Starting Quarterbacks 2023 NFL Season


The 2023 NFL regular season will be here before you know it. The 2023 NFL Draft is now behind us. Every team is going to try and mold its roster to the best of there ability. Who are going to be the Week 1 starting quarterbacks for each team in the NFL this year?


NFC East

Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott

Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts

New York Giants: Daniel Jones

Washington Commanders: Sam Howell


NFC North

Chicago Bears: Justin Fields

Minnesota Vikings: Kirk Cousins

Green Bay Packers: Jordan Love

Detroit Lions: Jared Goff


NFC South

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask will battle out for the quarterback job.

New Orleans Saints: Derek Carr

Atlanta Falcons: Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke will battle out for the quarterback job.

Carolina Panthers: Rookie quarterback Bryce Young will most likely be the starting quarterback after being the number one overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.


NFC West

Seattle Seahawks: Geno Smith

San Francisco 49ers: This is a very complicated situation. If Brock Purdy is healthy, he will become the starting quarterback. If not, it is going to be a battle in training camp between Trey Lance and Sam Darnold.

Arizona Cardinals: With Kyler Murray being injured, Colt McCoy will most likely be the starter.

Los Angeles Rams: Matthew Stafford


AFC East

New York Jets: Aaron Rodgers after Zach Wilson's abysmal season.

New England Patriots: Mac Jones

Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa

Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen


AFC North

Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow

Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson

Pittsburgh Steelers: Kenny Pickett

Cleveland Browns: Deshaun Watson


AFC South

Tennessee Titans: It will most likely be Ryan Tannehill unless rookie quarterback Will Levis plays out of his mind in training camp and preseason.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence

Indianapolis Colts: It will be a battle between Gardner Minshew II and rookie Anthony Richardson.

Houston Texans: Davis Mills may start the season as the starting quarterback, but rookie C.J. Stroud can take over early in the season.


AFC West

Los Angeles Chargers: Justin Herbert

Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes II

Las Vegas Raiders: Jimmy Garoppolo

Denver Broncos: Russell Wilson
