Pelicans Rout The Clippers 112-91 in Zion's Return

After a tough loss on Friday to the Suns, the Pelicans were able to get back on the winning track Sunday and defeat the Clippers 112-91 in LA.
Zion Williamson, who has been out for the past two games due to a bruised hip returned to action and recorded 21 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists.
CJ McCollum found his rhythm after struggling the past two games. He finished with 22 points shooting 9/19 2FGs, and 4/8 3FGs.
The Clippers, on the other hand, have lost their 4th game in a row. Norman Powell led the Clippers with 18 points while Paul George netted 14 points in the loss.
Game Summary
The Clippers got off to a good start leading by as many as 11 points in the 2nd quarter. The Pelicans, however, stormed back thanks to a 17-9 run which tied the game at the half, 52-52.
In the third quarter, the Pelicans set the tone early. They knocked down shots and flew around on defense, which made it hard for the Clippers to get going. The Pelicans won the third quarter 28-15, and led 78-67 going into the fourth quarter.
In the fourth quarter, the Pelicans kept their foot on the gas and built a comfortable lead knocking down five three-pointers. That's when Clippers head coach Ty Lue threw in the towel and subbed in his bench players to finish the game.

The Pelicans will face the Lakers on Nov 2nd, and the Clippers will play the Rockets at home on Oct 31st.
