NFL Offensive Rookie Of the Year Odds

With the preseason officially over and with final roster cuts happening, there will be some rookies that are going to make an impact right away, and some rookies will not or be cut entirely though. The NFL feels like more of an offensive league than a defensive league though. We will see what happens throughout the 2022 NFL regular season.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase won the Offensive Rookie Of the Year Award last season though. Who on FanDuel Sportsbook has the best odds to win the Offensive Rookie Of the Year?

Kenny Pickett +900

Kenny Pickett is one of the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks and he is currently the betting favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook to win the 2022 Offensive Rookie Of the Year Award. Pickett may not be starting right away because it will probably be Mitchell Trubisky, but he probably has a short leash. If the first two weeks Pittsburgh’s offense spirals, then Pickett will be in for the rest of the season.

It will be interesting to see when Kenny Pickett starts for them though. He played at the University of Pittsburgh last season. Pickett completed 67.2% of his passes for 4,319 yards, 42 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Kenny Pickett was a first-round selection, 20th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

George Pickens +900

George Pickens, one of the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers, is also another current betting favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook to win the 2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Pickens rankings have moved up because of recency bias during Pittsburgh Steelers training camp. It doesn’t necessarily mean this is all going to translate onto the field.

He was a second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of the University of Georgia. Pickens only caught five passes for 107 yards receiving (21.7 yards per catch) last season and zero touchdowns. He only played in four games due to a leg injury. Fade this bet and don’t fall for the hype.

Chris Olave +1000

Chris Olave, one of the New Orleans Saints wide receivers, is the second betting favorite to win the Offensive Rookie Of the Year Award on FanDuel Sportsbook. Olave was drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft (11th overall) out of the Ohio State University. He is going to be catching passes from quarterback Jameis Winston this season.

Chris Olave could become the top wide receiver in this offense along with Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry. He caught 65 passes for 936 yards and 13 touchdowns. Olave averaged 14.4 yards per catch last season, in 11 games played.

Skyy Moore +1200

Skyy Moore, one of the Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers, is the third betting favorite to win the Offensive Rookie Of the Year Award on FanDuel Sportsbook. He was a second-round pick out of Western Michigan in the 2022 NFL Draft. Moore played in 12 games last season in college football and caught 95 passes for 1,292 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. He averaged 13.6 yards per catch and also had one rushing attempt for 10 yards.

Skyy Moore will be catching passes from Patrick Mahomes II this season. He could be the number one wide receiver with wide receiver Tyreek Hill gone. Travis Kelce will be the tight end. However, Juju Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mecole Hardman Jr., and others may not be better than him once this season ends. Skyy Moore could be a good bet to win it here also.
