NFL Draft 2022 – Picks 26 thru 32
26. New York Jets – Jermaine Johnson (edge) (FSU) – Mike : great 1st round draft for NY, this guy is a premiere edge rusher. Buddy : A+ draft for the Jets in this 1st round.

27. Jacksonville Jaguars – Devin Lloyd (LB) (Utah) – Mike : Good player. Sideline to sideline backer. Blitzes well, solid in coverage. Was my LB1 in the draft. Buddy : 3-Down ILB with leadership and big play capability.

28. Green Bay Packers – Devonte Wyatt (DT) (Georgia) – Mike : He’s an older prospect. I believe he’s 24. Also has some off field concerns. On field, GREAT prospect. Penetrating DT that can cause havoc in opposing backfields.

29. New England Patriots – Cole Strange (G) (Chattanooga) – Galen : “That’s our 1st round selection, we waited all night for that.” Murph : I had Strange mocked up to the Pats in the 4th round. I’m not happy. Mike : I had him going late 3 maybe early 4. I just don’t understand it and don’t have much to say about it honestly. Buddy : Strange is athletic, highly intelligent, coachable interior oline prospect who’ll play a while in the league.
A stunner from New England: The #Patriots take UT-Chattanooga guard Cole Strange at No. 29. Just had a coach from another team text me: “I love that guy!” — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 29, 2022
30. Kansas City Cheifs – George Karalaftis (edge) (Purdue) – Buddy : Karlaftis is a well rounded EDGE who can contribute on 3-downs but may never be a sack master.

32. Minnesota Vikings – Lewis Cine (S) (Georgia) – Mike : I hate this pick for Minnesota. Just makes zero sense for me, and I like Cine. They have 2 good safeties already. Upsetting.
