New York Giants OutMatched Against the Philadelphia Eagles

The New York Giants never had a chance to compete with the Philadelphia Eagles, to begin with from the opening kickoff. Philadelphia jumped out to a 21-0 lead over New York in the first half and the Eagles never looked back in a 48-22 win on the road against the Giants.
Philadelphia appears to be the team to beat in the NFC and also in the NFL as well. Their talent level on both sides is a major factor as well. One of the key things that were very telling from this football game is that the Eagles trust their quarterback Jalen Hurts and that the Giants don't trust their quarterback Daniel Jones.
If you watched this game, you can see how the play-calling was on both sides. The Eagles let Hurts air it out deep. The Giants only tried it once with Jones all game long.
Jalen Hurts completed 21-of-31 passes for 217 yards passing and two touchdowns for Philadelphia. He also rushed for 77 yards on seven carries and a score.
Daniel Jones completed 18-of-27 passes for 169 yards passing and one touchdown for New York. He also rushed for 26 yards on four carries and a score.
The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the best rosters in the league and the New York Giants have one of the worst rosters in the league. Philadelphia is going to be on track for the number one seed for the NFC and New York is lucky to even make it to the playoffs as the seventh seed in the NFC.
After this season, the Giants are going to have to make a ton of decisions. The coaching staff appears to not trust Daniel Jones at all. Only a few more weeks until they potentially move off of him this upcoming offseason. General manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll will have to decide what they want as their future quarterback. Offensive Coordinator Mike Kafka will need a say in it as well. The fans have not been fond of him as of late and they have felt the same way with defensive coordinator Wink Martindale.
They may not bring back running back Saquon Barkley also as he is too injury-prone and has not played well as of late as well. There are also other holes on this roster that Schoen is going to have to fix. He is going to need to also clean up the mess that former general manager Dave Gettleman made here in this place.
Also one of the most important things about this team is that they need a quarterback that is going to elevate this team in chaotic situations. If a quarterback has to be perfect in terms of needing everything around him with the offensive line, wide receivers, tight ends, defenses, and special teams, then he isn't the guy of the future. Daniel Jones can't elevate a team in chaos and teams in the NFL need quarterbacks who are going to lead them back from 14-0 comebacks. If not, then they shouldn't be a starting quarterback in the NFL.
The Philadelphia Eagles (12-1) next game will be on the road next Sunday, 12/18 against the Chicago Bears (3-10).
The New York Giants (7-5-1) next game will be on the road next Sunday, 12/18, with a potential playoff spot on the line against the Washington Commanders (7-5-1).
