The New Orleans Pelicans have been on a rollercoaster ride this season, battling through injuries and adversity to keep their NBA Playoffs hopes alive. Despite the setbacks, the Pelicans have remained resilient and are currently in the hunt for one of the coveted postseason spots. However, the injuries have certainly taken their toll on the team, with key players missing significant time on the court.

The Pelicans are currently holding their ground in eighth place on the Western Conference table with a 40-38 record. While they have been doing well in their recent games, winning seven out of their last eight, their record away from home has not been great, with only 15 wins out of the 40 games they have played on the road. This puts added pressure on the team to perform at their best in every game, especially with the playoffs within reach.

One of the main reasons for the Pelicans' recent success has been the outstanding play of forward Brandon Ingram. Ingram has been on fire lately, putting up 36 points in a recent win over the Los Angeles Clippers. He has been willing his team to victory with his impressive scoring and all-around play, missing a double-double by just two assists in the aforementioned game. Ingram has now scored 30-plus points in five of his last seven outings, including his first two career triple-doubles.

In the absence of star player Zion Williamson, who has been out due to injuries since January, Ingram has stepped up and become the go-to player for the Pelicans. He has been playing with passion and intensity, leaving it all on the court in each and every game. With the playoffs looming, Ingram's role in the team has become even more crucial, as the Pelicans aim to secure a postseason berth.

However, injuries have been a major issue for the Pelicans this season, with key players like Jose Alvarado, and Zion Williamson missing significant time on the court. The injuries have certainly tested the depth of the team, and the Pelicans have had to rely on their bench players during the crunch moments in the absence of the starters.

Despite the challenges, the Pelicans have remained focused on their goal of making it to the playoffs. The team has shown excellent skill and great determination, and their recent winning streak is a testament to their hard work and dedication. With Brandon Ingram leading the way, the Pelicans have a fighting chance to secure a postseason spot and somehow make a run in the playoffs.
