BREAKING NEWS: MISSISSIPPI STATE HEAD COACH MIKE LEACH PASSES AWAY AT 61

Mississippi State Bulldogs head coach Mike Leach suffered a massive heart attack on Sunday in Starksville and he was medically transferred to the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he has tragically passed away. Leach was in his 3rd season with the #24 Bulldogs and was coming fresh off a rivalry Egg Bowl win over Ole Miss. The Bulldogs will play against Illinois in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Florida. Leach has an overall record of 158-107 in his head coaching career having stops at Texas Tech, Washington State, and now Mississippi State. Leach took both Texas Teach and Washington State further than they ever been getting both teams their only 11-win season ever in program history. The pioneer of the air-raid system, Leach has been the staple of some of the most explosive offenses that college football has ever seen and his legacy is forever stamped in the college football world. Leach was 61.
