The Official Michinoku Pro Wrestling Channel is now presenting Michinoku Pro Wrestling LIVE #24, the latest edition of their YouTube program. Michinoku Pro Wrestling LIVE shows take place at the Michinoku Pro Dojo in Iwate, Japan.
Existing since 1993, Michinoku Pro was created with Iwate in mind, so many events in Iwate feature matches that are not seen anywhere else in the country. Michinoku Pro hosts shows at their dojo regularly but occasionally will stream a show live via YouTube as well.
Match 1: Rui Hyugaji vs. Ayumu Gunji
Previously being on opposite sides of the ring in tag team action on Michinoku Pro Wrestling LIVE #23, this time Rui Hyugaji and Ayumu Gunji face each other one on one. Being former co-holders of the Tohoku Tag Team Championship and UWA World Tag Team Championship, they may know each other better than anyone else, and the back and forth action that takes place when they are in the ring against each other may be proof of that.
Match 2: Rasse vs. MUSASHI
Rasse is a top member of the Michinoku Pro roster, holding impressive wins over legend The Great Sasuke, former Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion Taro Nohashi, and former UWA World Middleweight Champion Nogyo Boy Raito. MUSASHI, who will be putting his Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Championship on the line in a historical match on 7/1 at the Korakuen Hall, is always open to competitive matches between championship defenses. He also makes time to provide lucha classes to adults and children. MUSASHI has wrestled in Mexico, where he worked from April 2018 to February 2019. This is when he began wrestling as, “MUSASHI” (he originally wrestled as, “Daichi Sasaki).
