Michinoku Pro 9/18/22 Sendai Event!

The wrestlers of Michinoku Pro will be in action on September 18 at the Sendai Hills Hotel Michinoku Hall in Sendai (1:00 PM start time).

MATCH 1: RASSE VS. RINGO YAMATANI

Rasse and Ringo Yamatani previously faced each other in July, and Rasse was the victor on that night. Yamatani showed a fighting spirit and endured many holds before ultimately submitting to the former Tohoku Tag Team Champion. In this rematch, will the result be different?

Match 2: The Great Sasuke, Yapperman No. 1, and Yapperman No. 2 vs. Jinsei Shinzaki, Taro Nohashi, and Rui Hyugaji

There will be extensive tag team experience involved in this match. The Great Sasuke is a cornerstone of Michinoku Pro and a 2-time former Chiba Six Man Tag Team Champion, while Yapperman No. 1 and Yapperman No. 2 have had three reigns as Chiba Six Man Tag Team Champions (with Rasse) on their resumes as proof of the six man prowess of all three competitors. Meanwhile, Jinsei Shinzaki is another cornerstone of Michinoku Pro and has won the Tohoku Tag Team Championship a record five times with four different partners, Taro Nohashi (and GAINA) became the first (and to date, only) Tohoku, UWA World, Kyushu Pro Wrestling Triple Crown Tag Champions in pro-wrestling history earlier this year and although Rui Hyugaji is much more accomplished as a singles wrestler, he is a former Tohoku Tag Team Champion and a former UWA World Tag Team Champion.

MATCH 3: Koji Kawamura & Yasutaka Oosera vs. Brahman Brothers

This will be the second send-off match for Koji Kawamura (with the first one being the day before in Yahaba Town) as he will be on an expedition in Mexico beginning this fall.

MATCH 4: GAINA vs. OSO11

GAINA is the only wrestler who has been able to defeat OSO11 in Michinoku Pro action thus far. In this rematch, will the former Michinoku Pro Junior Heavyweight Champion and former 5-Crown Champion win once again, or will the newest member of New Generation be the victor?

MATCH 5: Fujita Jr. Hayato, Manjimaru, and Ken45 vs. MUSASHI, Kazuki Hashimoto, and Ayumu Gunji

The current generation of Michinoku Pro will go head to head with members of New Generation in this six man tag main event. Manjimaru and Ken45 see tag team action regularly and are now the current Tohoku Tag Team Champions. Ken45 has also been a UWA World Trios Champion.

Before his time away from Michinoku Pro, Fujita Jr. Hayato teamed with Manjimaru and Ken45 often, with the three of them being members of the Bad Boy faction. Now in his third reign as Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion, Hayato has also seen tag team success as an NWA International Lightweight Tag Team Champion.

Meanwhile, MUSASHI and Ayumu Gunji have been teaming together on a regular basis ever since they formed the New Generation faction in early 2021. And Kazuki Hashimoto, who joined New Generation earlier this year in May, is a former Yokohama Shopping Street Six Man Tag Team Champion
