Michinoku Pro 8/12/22 Iwate Event! Rampage at the Amusement Park 2022!

The wrestlers of Michinoku Pro will be in action on August 12 at Morioka City Iwayama Parkland in Iwate (2:30 PM start time), for Rampage at the Amusement Park 2022. Existing since 1993, Michinoku Pro was created with Iwate in mind, so many events in Iwate feature matches that are not seen anywhere else in the country.

Match 1: Rui Hyugaji vs. Rasse

Two established members of the Michinoku Pro roster will compete in singles action, as Rui Hyugaji will face Rasse. Hyugaji is the longest-reigning Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion of all time, while Rasse holds impressive wins over former Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Champion Taro Nohashi and former UWA World Middleweight Champion Nogyo Boy Raito.

Match 2: Manjimaru & Ken45 vs. MUSASHI & Koji Kawamura

The war between the current generation and New Generation of Michinoku Pro will continue in this match. Manjimaru & Ken45 captured the Tohoku Tag Team Championship last month, the second time for both men in their 19-year careers. MUSASHI has a Tohoku Tag Team Championship reign on his resume as well, and Koji Kawamura has teamed with MUSASHI often.

Match 3: The Great Sasuke & Taro Nohashi vs. Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei vs. Yapperman No. 1 & Yapperman No. 2 vs. GAINA & OSO11 in a, “Special Amusement Park 4WAY Tag” match

While OSO11 is the wildcard of this match, a newcomer in Michinoku Pro who currently is undefeated in both singles and tag team action, all of the other participants in this match have held both the Tohoku Tag Team Championship and UWA World Tag Team Championship, and each one them brings an outstanding credential to their team.

Earlier this year, Taro Nohashi and GAINA became the first (and to date, only) Tohoku, UWA World, Kyushu Pro Wrestling Triple Crown Tag Champions in pro-wrestling history. Brahman Shu & Brahman Kei have had more reigns as Tohoku Tag Team Champions than any other team. Yapperman No. & Yapperman No 2. have had more reigns as UWA World Tag Team Champions than any other team, with their most recent reign being the longest in the championship’s history. The Great Sasuke is the only participant who has also held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.
