One day before the big Takizawa City event, the wrestlers of Michinoku Pro will be in action on May 7 at the Sendai Hills Hotel Michinoku Hall in Sendai, as a part of Golden Week series 2022.
The tag team main event will be a bit of a preview of the next day’s big Tohoku Junior Heavyweight Championship match, as Champion MUSASHI will team with fellow New Generation member Koji Kawamura to go against Rui Hyugaji and the next challenger for MUSASHI’s title, former BJW Junior Heavyweight Champion Kazuki Hashimoto.
It will be MUSASHI’s third defense during this current reign, and arguably his toughest challenge during this reign to date, so it will be very interesting to see what happens between the two during this tag team match. Interactions between MUSASHI and Rui Hyugaji will be interesting as well, being that Hyugaji is the man who MUSASHI defeated for the championship.
