Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis has been the focal point of the Lakers since Lebron James has been out for the fourth straight game with a strained groin.

In James's absence, Davis has been nothing short of amazing as the Lakers have won three straight games and improved to 5 -10 on the season. In the game against the Brooklyn Nets, Davis scored 37 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. He followed that game up against the Detroit Pistons with a 38-point performance along with 16 rebounds and four blocked shots. Davis also shot 18/21 from the free-throw line. And Sunday night, Davis scored 30 points with 18 rebounds in a win against the San Antonio Spurs.

He becomes the first player in over 20 years to register three straight games with 30+ points and 15+ rebounds on 60% shooting from the floor. Shaquille O'Neal was the last player to do it in 2001.

This is the Anthony Davis Laker Nation wants to see game in and game out.

Lakers Fans Have Something To Be Excited About

After a rough start of the season, Lakers fans finally have something to be excited about. Even though it's just three wins, fans took to Twitter to express gratitude for how well the Lakers are performing.

Tough Road Schedule Ahead

The Lakers three wins still place them 14th in the West, one game behind the Spurs. Their real test will begin Tuesday against the Suns on the road. Also, their next 16 out of 22 matches will be played on the road, a tough stretch for any team.

It seems the player's confidence and chemistry are very high right now for the Lakers. It is visible through their body language and team play on the court.

Can the Lakers ride their three-game streak on the road and continue to account for more wins? With Davis at the helm playing lights out, and the role players contributing the way they have been, there will be some upsets along the road.
