Joe Burrow Big Day Helps Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals and quarterback Joe Burrow were on a mission today offensively against the Atlanta Falcons. They scored touchdowns on their first four offensive possessions and they never looked back in a 35-17 Cincinnati win over Atlanta.
Joe Burrow completed 34-of-42 passes for 481 yards passing and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 20 yards on three carries and a score. Burrow is looking like the quarterback he was when he led the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl last season.
On the opening drive of the football game, Joe Burrow threw a 60-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd. Boyd finished with nine receptions for 155 yards receiving and one touchdown. This was his best game of the regular season by far.
Joe Mixon scored a 1-yard rushing touchdown on Cincinnati's next drive. He finished the day with 58 yards on 17 carries and a score. Mixon also caught three passes for 33 yards receiving.
On Cincinnati's both drives in the second quarter, Joe Burrow threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Ja'Marr Chase and a 41-yard touchdown pass to Ja'Marr Chase as well. Chase finished the day with eight receptions for 130 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
Ja'Marr Chase was gimpy during this football game. It appears as if he avoided a hamstring injury. Chase was on the injury report earlier in the week though.
It was 28-17 at halftime and the Atlanta Falcons made things a little interesting, but the Cincinnati Bengals scored one touchdown in the third quarter on a 1-yard rush by Joe Burrow. He looks like he is on a mission once again.
The Cincinnati Bengals are the only team in the NFL this season to not give up a single touchdown in the second half of football games. Cincinnati has a very underrated defense.
Head coach Zac Taylor has to be pleased with what he is seeing with this offense over the past couple of weeks. The Joe Burrow-Ja'Marr Chase connection is starting to click once again and so is the rest of it as well. The Bengals are tied with the Baltimore Ravens (4-3) for first place in the AFC North, but Cincinnati owns the tiebreaker.
The Cincinnati Bengals (4-3) next football game will be on the road next Monday night 10/31 against the Cleveland Browns (2-5).
The Atlanta Falcons (3-4) next football game will be at home next Sunday 10/30 against the Carolina Panthers (2-5).
