A number of the security guards were wrestlers who regularly wrestle in the North Carolina-based DEADLOCK Pro-Wrestling (DPW). The second guard who was attacked is Chance Rizer, who along with wrestling in DPW, has also wrestled in the Indiana-based IWA MS and North Carolina-based AIWF. The guard who was powerbombed onto the table is Patrick Scott, who has wrestled in AEW (on, “AEW Dark” and, “AEW Dark: Elevation“), and NXT.

The security guard with green dreadlocks who was attacked by Wardlow on the steps is Facade, who along with wrestling in DPW has wrestled in ROH, Impact Wrestling, OVW, New Jersey-based CZW, Michigan-based JCW, and AIWF, as well as promotions in Mexico (Desastre Total Ultraviolento, Chilanga Mask, and Black Mask Lucha Libre), Canada (IWS, UWA Hardcore Wrestling, Smash Wrestling, and Capital City Championship Combat), Japan (DDT, Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling, and K-DOJO), and the UK (Southside Wrestling Entertainment).

DEADLOCK Pro-Wrestling
DPW has been active since 2021, and their events present a standout roster of talent. Their next event will be on April 16 in Raleigh, NC, and it will feature former NXT star Biff Busick, (“Oney Lorcan”), former Impact Knockouts Champion Rosemary, former Sendai Girls World Champion Hiroyo Matsumoto, ROH star World Famous CB, former ROH star Colby Corino, Impact Wrestling star Savannah Evans, the Workhorsemen (as seen on, “AEW Dynamite”), and more.
Other familiar faces that have appeared in DPW are former WWE stars JTG and Lince Dorado, former Impact Wrestling star Andrew Everett, AEW stars Luther, Ryo Mizunami, and Matt Lee; former NXT stars Blake Christian (“Trey Baxter”) and Ho Ho Lun, Sendai Girls Tag Team Champion Yuu, MLW star Calvin Tankman, and Angelicia Risk.
As DPW continues to grow, it’s a safe bet that AEW will continue to observe the promotion and utilize its talent, which is definitely a compliment to DPW.
