WWE RAW
1/10/2022
Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) defeated WWE RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) to become the new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions.
Apollo Crews (w/Commander Azeez) & The Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode) defeated Damian Priest & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford)

Doudrop defeated Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan in, “WWE RAW Women’s Championship #1 Contendership Triple Threat” match
With RK-Bro no longer WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, it is very likely that we will see Randy Orton and Riddle split. It’s not unusual to see Orton betray someone he is allied with, however, if someone indeed is betrayed this time, I think it should be Riddle who turns heel. This would give fans something new to see- a different, more dangerous aspect of Riddle’s character. While WWE fans are familiar with the fun-loving Riddle, MMA fans are familiar with a Riddle who has a serious attitude. Further developing a character makes it more interesting- WWE now has an opportunity to do this with Riddle’s character. Besides, his nickname in MMA was, “Deep Waters”. Deep Water is usually a nickname for someone who is difficult to figure out what they are thinking and what their next move will be. Sounds like the perfect opponent for the “Apex Predator” Randy Orton.

John Cena gave his comments on the latest WWE releases recently on an episode of The Rich Eisen Show. The releases have been a hot topic and one that everyone has an opinion on. I think something that must be kept in mind is that what may seem to be the worst thing to ever happen to you today may turn out to be the best thing to ever happen to you tomorrow. There are many talents who fit WWE like a glove and thrive. Meanwhile, there are many others who constantly struggle on the roster, either because WWE doesn’t see something in the talent that they as a company are looking for and lose interest in them, or because the talent is never given much of an opportunity to begin with. Oftentimes, that same talent then goes to a different promotion, where they see their career flourish. Someone losing their job is never a good thing, but sometimes losing something makes room for something better.
AJ Styles has declared himself for this year’s Royal Rumble, and as he states, he’s done almost everything in WWE. Styles is referring to being a two-time WWE Champion, three-time United States Champion, RAW Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and WWE Grand Slam champion. However, as he himself said via Twitter in July 2021, “Now it’s my time to be what is needed and in the process make other stars. My time will come.” Styles spent most of 2021 putting other wrestlers ahead of himself and giving them the spotlight. 2022 should be the year that his time comes, starting with winning the Royal Rumble.
Since debuting in 2016, I’ve done it all in @WWE… well, almost everything. I’m officially declaring myself for the 2022 #RoyalRumble match! #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/ecfzBi0xRy — AJ Styles (@AJStylesOrg) January 10, 2022
