CM Punk defeated AEW World Champion Adam Page to become the AEW World Champion.
With Adam Page no longer AEW World Champion, it remains to be seen what will be next for him in AEW. Perhaps a program with Miro would interest fans. As for Punk, as I wrote in April, I think his first feud as champion should be with Chris Jericho. However, since Jericho is currently involved in a program, I think Christian Cage should receive a shot at the AEW World Championship, as he is currently not involved in a program of his own at this time.

After FTR and CM Punk’s victory, Punk wanted to see who he would be facing at the upcoming AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door event, and NJPW’s “rock star” Triple Crown/Grand Slam Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi made his surprise appearance.

It’s great to see Hiroshi Tanahashi in AEW, and hopefully he will also be utilized by the company for matches other than his match at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door. Commentator Jim Ross compared Tanahashi to Sting- with Sting being in AEW, a match between the two men can happen now, something that most fans probably never imagined would ever happen. Tanahashi vs. PAC is another match that I think fans would be interested in.
As for FTR, they very likely will have a match at AEW/NJPW as well, and I think it should be with Guerrillas Of Destiny.
