Lance Archer made his return during this episode of “AEW Dynamite”, attacking AEW World Champion Adam Page. It’s great to see him back and recovered from the neck injury that he suffered in October. Hopefully, this angle is an indication that Archer will be back in the AEW World Championship scene soon, something that he has earned.

MORE AEW

There is a lot of speculation online regarding what new talent will be joining AEW in 2022. There definitely are a lot of possibilities, considering the many recent releases by WWE and ROH. Jeff Hardy is one of those possibilities, and his joining would be a great benefit to both sides. He stated in an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling last year that he wanted to team up with brother Matt Hardy again down the line, whether that’s in WWE or “elsewhere”. And AEW is where Matt Hardy is currently signed. So if Jeff goes to AEW, he will be able to reunite with Matt.

As for AEW, signing Jeff Hardy would gain them one of the top draws in the industry. Teaming him with Matt Hardy, they would be able to have very interesting matches with teams such as Best Friends, and The Young Bucks (who Jeff & Matt have wrestled in the past), and an AEW World Tag Team Championship run would no doubt be in their future.

As a singles talent (which I feel is how Jeff Hardy would be best utilized in AEW), he would be able to have matches with wrestlers he is familiar with, such as Bryan Danielson,  as well as have matches with wrestlers he has not been in the ring with before, such as Kenny Omega. And I definitely can see Hardy having a run in AEW as AEW World Champion.
