Fantasy 2023: Buyer Beware on RB

.At no point am I saying these guys aren't talented, but you're looking to maximize a fantasy draft pick. These are all guys you have to think about another player possibly having the game plan around them at the same position. I'm a fan of drafting a "situation" and playing both if possible. I look at a handcuff as a guy to have in case of injury, the players listed are more tag-team partners this upcoming season.

Travis Etienne (Jaguars) His familiarity with Trevor Lawrence is huge, along with the ability to make plays and be a great threat in PPR leagues. In the 3rd round, the Jaguars drafted Tank Bigsby from Auburn. He could be a touchdown vulture and frustrate Ettienne owners.

Alexander Mattison (Vikings) I see him getting drafted as if he's going to just step into the Dalvin Cook role and put up those numbers. He was a solid, change-of-pace guy but now with more pressure and different responsibilities. Late round flyer on DeWayne McBride, Rookie from UAB.

Aaron Jones (Packers) Rodgers is gone, he was already in a share situation with quadzilla, and cap number is a concern. It may be a slow build-up with Jordan Love at QB, it won't be as much Jones as believed.

D'Andre Swift (Eagles) He's not Miles Sanders, who couldn't get the touches with the group in Philly. Scott, Gainwell, and Penney will all have roles.

Alvin Kamara (Saints) He's that player where you go to youtube for highlights and don't check the video posted date. He's not that guy anymore. That, coupled with a major off-the-field concern. Different guys on the roster can fill roles, while we see a Zeke-like decline.
