Elijah Moore Requests Trade

Elijah Moore, the wide receiver for the New York Jets, has officially requested a trade even though they are off to a 4-2 start to the 2022 NFL regular season. New York is one of the better teams in the AFC and the NFL as well.

He will be held out on Sunday against the Denver Broncos on the road. This will make Denzel Mims activated once again. Corey Davis and Garrett Wilson Jr. are the other top receiving targets on this football team.

The New York Jets have no plans to trade him. Head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglass want to keep him around. He was the 34th overall pick (second-round selection) in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Ole Miss. Elijah Moore is a very fast receiver and has tons of talent.

His current quarterback is Zach Wilson and maybe he wants out because of the quarterback situation. So far this season, Elijah Moore has caught 16 passes for 203 yards receiving and zero touchdowns. He is averaging 12.7 yards per catch. Which NFL teams could use a trade for him?

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs currently have no one to stretch the field for Patrick Mahomes. They have Travis Kelce, but wide receivers like Skyy Moore, Juju Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman Jr., and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have done absolutely nothing this season.

Elijah Moore could be their stretch-the-field kind of player with his speed like Tyreek Hill was before he was traded to the Miami Dolphins during the offseason. Head coach Andy Reid would make this work.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams offense consists of Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp and nobody else. Allen Robinson has struggled in this offense and not having Van Jefferson and Odell Beckham Jr. hurts. Having Elijah Moore in the Rams' offense, especially in the slot, would help this offense become more creative.

The Rams are not the same offense a season ago and are not the same team as a whole after winning the Super Bowl last season. Head coach Sean McVay would love to have him on this roster.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers' offense has not been the same since they traded wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders. Green Bay's offense needs some speed for quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Elijah Moore would be able to stretch the field for them.

Rookies Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are not what we thought they were going to be. Randall Cobb is older and Sammy Watkins is always injured. Allen Lazard is their only reliable wide receiver target for head coach Matt LaFleur. Elijah Moore and Aaron Rodgers would develop chemistry immediately as well.
