Does Mike Evans Get Traded?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will need a new quarterback next season with Tom Brady officially retired. This means that will Tampa Bay keep the team around and contend or will they tear it down? If they tear it down, it means that wide receiver Mike Evans could be one of the names potentially traded.

Evans has been one of the best receivers in the NFL ever since he entered the league in 2014. Mike Evans is 29 years old and would also have a $29 million cap hit next season as well. Who are some of the teams that could trade for Mike Evans this offseason?

New York Giants

The New York Giants seemed to be committed to Daniel Jones at the quarterback for the long term. Mike Evans would be a great number-one wide receiver in Brian Daboll's offense. Isaiah Hodgins and Wan'Dale Robinson would be a solid two-and-three punch, along with Saquon Barkley at running back if they re-sign him. This offense would be at another level potentially.

Green Bay Packers

With the void of Davante Adams a season ago via trade to the Las Vegas Raiders, Aaron Rodgers and Mike Evans would have become best friends in a hurry. Evans would be a nice big tall receiver for Aaron Rodgers in Matt LaFleur's offense. This would be an intriguing destination.

New England Patriots

Mac Jones is missing a true number-one wide receiver in his offense. Bill Belichick brought in Bill O'Brien as the offensive coordinator. Jones and Mike Evans together would be fantastic and get instant chemistry.
