Los Angeles Lakers had quite a game against the Milwaukee Bucks as Lebron James, Russell

Westbrook, and Anthony Davis had a remarkable game that gave the Lakers’ a narrow but impressive four-point win against the Bucks.

The Los Angeles Lakers are on their six-game road trip that started at the home of the Milwaukee Bucks. And they simply could not have asked for a better start to their road trip.

Game Summary

Initially, it looked like Milwaukee would blow the Lakers away with the start that they got.

The Lakers were down by a 10-2 margin at one point. Milwaukee even had a 10-point lead

when the score was 15-5. However, it took some time for the Lakers to warm up, but once they got going, there was no looking back.

By the end of the first quarter, the Lakers had pulled things back to make it 33-31. Their

players had found their combination, and they looked in great touch as a team. It seemed like the Lakers had found their groove for the season. It was perhaps their best first-quarter

performance of the season despite missing out in the initial few minutes of play. Their great play continued in the second quarter as they scored another 33 points to make the score 66-58 at the halfway stage.

The Bucks played better in the third quarter and scored 39 points, as compared to the Lakers’ 32. This made the score 101-97, with one quarter to go. Both sides played well in the final quarter. However, the Lakers managed to retain their four-point lead till the end of the match as they won with a score of 133-129.

Even though the final score was close, the Lakers were in far superior form on the court.

Had it not been for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s magical brilliance, the Bucks would have

suffered an embarrassing defeat.

Antetokounmpo was the top performer for the Bucks with 40 points. He was assisted by Jrue

Holiday, who scored 28 points. But they were competitively outperformed by Anthony Davis, Lebron James, and Russell Westbrook.

Davis, LeBron, and Westbrook

Davis was the best player on the court, with a stunning 44 points, ten rebounds and four assists in the match. Moreover, Anthony Davis was the only player from both sides who stayed on the court for all 40 minutes of play. That just goes on to show how special his performance was.

He was supported by Lebron James, who completed 28 points, eight rebounds, and eleven assists. Russell Westbrook also provided great support with 15 points, seven rebounds, and eleven assists. He also took care of the ball with zero turnovers.

The team effort from the Lakers deserves all the appreciation and commendation. The way the players played together to manufacture a special away win was unbelievable.

The Los Angeles Lakers have the momentum on their side now. There are five more matches to go on their road trip. Let's see if they can pull off more upsets along the way.
