Chaim Bloom’ Arrogance Continues to Alienate Fanbase and Players

Updated: Sep 22, 2022

This all started last off season. Chaim Bloom was riding high on the Red Sox run through the playoffs and came away thinking his little payroll guys were working, his cheap alternatives to the high paid talent trade offs was and is the way to go. And John Henry’s bought and paid for propaganda ministry at the Boston Globe and NESN was right there to back him up.

Bloom says Red Sox stayed in touch with Schwarber the whole way. He’s reportedly headed to the Phillies. “It was to a level that doesn’t make sense… as much as we love him.” — Chris Cotillo (@ChrisCotillo) March 16, 2022

Bloom didn’t need Kyle Schwarber’ .291 average in this lineup. His seven home runs and 18 RBI in 41 regular season games hell Bloom can find that in the bushes. Those three homers and six RBI, five walks and eight runs scored in 11 playoff games. Spare me. Bloom has that in his pocket. I mean didn’t you see Bobby D down the stretch ? Freddie Freeman who needs him ? E-Rod walks – Renfroe traded off. Hell he’s got Brain Bello and Jarren Durran on rookie minimums that can fill their rolls easily. And hey there’s always Franchy right ?

Drifting into spring

The Sox opened up spring training by insulting both Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers with offers hundreds of millions of dollars below market value. The offer to Xander was merely an add on year with a few extra million dollars John Henry found in the cushions of his yacht’s sofa. Neither of them went into the season with any faith they would be here long term. The Rotation was a mess post sale once again hitting the DL, no worries though, Bloom is a genius and Mike Wakka and Rich Hill got that covered. right ? Don’t forget James Paxton will be good to go by the break.

The Deadline

Today , well yesterday the blooming Idion traded away Christian Vasquez. Not just this team’s starting but only catcher to the Astros. Bloom thinks he can fill this whole with JAG-OFF catcher Reese McGuire. Fat chance. He acquired 4th outfielder and Fantasy Football enforcer Tommy Pham from Cincy. Why I don’t know maybe Bloom needs FFB draft advice. Hell they could have added David Peralta for a song and a dance. I’m not even going to waste your time on the prospects Bloom acquired , because they are meaningless here in 2022.

Tommy Pham told reporters today that he has been suspended three games. During batting practice Friday, Pham slapped Joc Pederson regarding a disagreement over fantasy football rules. “I slapped Joc,” he told reporters. “He said some s—- I don’t condone. I had to address it.” — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) May 28, 2022

The Bottom Line

Bloom did nothing this past offseason to make this team better, he got cheap bargain basement fill-ins. He did nothing to show this team in June he believed in them while they were west coast hot and is doing nothing here at the deadline except hiding out like the coward he is in Boston doing zoom interviews and talking out of both sides of his mouth. why would Xander – Raffy or anyone want to remain a part of an organization run like this. for Christ sakes the Red sox longest tenured player was allowed to be bum-rushed today by the media about the trade when all he wanted was to get in one more BP session with HIS TEAM.

Vazquez when asked if he was traded to Astros, “I think so, yeah.” How does it feel: “It’s a business.” Red Sox PR pulled him away. pic.twitter.com/fQ06LVzwW0 — Brian McTaggart (@brianmctaggart) August 1, 2022
