CFB Games Of The Week

Florida State (5-3) (7.5) VS Miami (3-5)

Miami is coming off a very lackluster win against Virginia in quadruple overtime 14-12 where neither team scored a touchdown. Starting QB for Miami Tyler Van Dyke

missed the game due to injury with backup QB Jake Garcia playing in relief but he could see the field this weekend. Florida State’s explosive offense looks to repeat itself on the road led by QB Jordan Travis and if they can finish late in the second half, they should walk out with a win.

#6 Alabama (7-1) (-13) vs #15 LSU (6-2) First Saturday in November

Coming off a dominate win against #11 Ole Miss, LSU looks to continue their 2-game winning streak against the Alabama Crimson Tide who are coming off a close game loss to Tennessee. If Alabama can get timely stops in the second half, QB Bryce Young could have a chance to lead the offense to victory.

#5 Clemson (7-0) (-4) vs Norte Dame (5-3)

Clemson presents a defense that Norte Dame’s underwhelming offense has not seen yet but Norte Dame is undefeated against the ACC (wins against Syracuse and North Carolina) so luck could be on their side. If a stagnant Clemson offense can get it going in the first half, this could be a quick game for the Tigers.

#2 Tennessee (8-0) vs #1 Georgia (8-0) (-8.5)

Last two undefeated teams in the SEC play for the SEC East champion title when the Georgia Bulldogs host the Tennessee Volunteers in the game of the century. Georgia has won the last five matchups against UT, but this is a different UT led by Heisman hopeful QB Hendon Hooker and his star wide receiver Jalin Hyatt. If the explosive volunteers can get points on the board early, it could be a scary game for the Bulldogs in the second half.

Texas (5-3) (-1) vs #13 Kansas State (6-2)

Kansas State Wildcats just pitched a shutout against Oklahoma State 48-0, and they are STILL underdogs at home against the up and down Texas Longhorns. Coming off a b

ye and a loss to Oklahoma State the week before, Texas looks to bounce back with their explosive offense led by promising first-year QB Quinn Ewers. The wildcats are led by the duo of QB Adrian Martinez and RB Deuce Vaughn, together, they have been giving defenses trouble all season.
