Bruins turn Rental into Long-Term plan

Bruins GM Don Sweeney has been known for making deals at the deadline.  The GM turned the Taylor Hall trade into a long-term deal in the off-season, this year he didn’t wait 24 hours.

The Deal: Anaheim send D Hampus Lindholm and D Kodie Curran to Boston in exchange for D John Moore, D Urho Vaakanainen, a 2022 first-round pick, 2nd round picks in 2023 and 2024.  Anaheim will also pick up 50% of Lindholm’s contract.  The Bruins then turned around and signed the new defenseman to an 8-year deal.
