Earlier this month, WeissLaw announced that they are investigating WWE regarding possible false and misleading statements, accounting and reporting practices, insider trading, breaches of fiduciary duty, and violations of the federal securities laws by the WWE Board of Directors and officers in the company. Now, another law firm has announced that they are investigating WWE.
Pomerantz
The law firm is Pomerantz, a 80+-year-old law firm that is investigating whether or not WWE and certain of its officers and/or directors have engaged in securities fraud or other unlawful business practices. With offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Paris, Pomerantz focuses on corporate, securities, and antitrust class litigation; and has recovered numerous multimillion-dollar damages awards on behalf of class members.

Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis have been main focuses of investigations that are taking place, and McMahon voluntarily stepped down from the CEO and Chairman role that he had in the company, with Stephanie McMahon currently the interim CEO and interim Chairwoman, with the plan being that she will remain in those positions while Vince McMahon is being investigated.
Investigations aside, it has been business as usual in WWE, as they prepare for Money In The Bank, which will be taking place this Saturday. In the two, “Money In The Bank Ladder” match main events, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Shotzi, Raquel Rodriguez, Becky Lynch, and Lacey Evans will battle for the women’s briefcase; and Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Riddle, Omos, and an opponent yet to be announced will battle for the men’s briefcase.
