2023 NFL Draft- Non-Playoff team Mock Draft

The Non-Playoff Order of the 2023 NFL Draft has been established, here we go!

  1. Chicago Bears- Will Anderson JR. (EDGE) Alabama- I'd go Carter but the defense was at its best with a pass rush in recent years.

  2. Houston Texans- Bryce Young (QB) Alabama- The loss and move down don't really impact the Texans. They get the franchise signal-caller and still are coming up at #12.

  3. Arizona Cardinals- Jalen Carter (DL) Georgia- It doesn't matter if you're in an even, odd, or sub front, he makes an impact.

  4. Indianapolis Colts- CJ Stroud (QB) Ohio State- The Colts go from the high-mileage, used car lot to a dealership for a new ride.

  5. Seattle Seahawks via Denver- Tyree Wilson (EDGE) Texas Tech- Playoffs and Top-5 pick after an incredible draft.

  6. Detroit Lions via Rams- Kelee Ringo (DB) Georgia- Building on a winning season and talented roster. Defense is the need. It improved but what this team can be in 2023?

  7. Las Vegas Raiders- Bryan Bresee (DT) Clemson- The interior presence that this Defense needs.

  8. Atlanta Falcons- Myles Murphy (EDGE) Clemson- This position has been the Falcons Moby Dick since Vic Beasley went into hiding.

  9. Carolina Panthers- Jordan Addison (WR) USC- We'll see roster turnover, players we forgot about (they drafted a QB last year), and a team that competed until the end.

  10. Philadelphia Eagles via Saints- Bijan Robinson (RB) Texas- My biggest flip after really thinking. This is a gift from New Orleans. Robinson, allows Hurts to stay healthy, plays on a rookie contract with some guys coming up, and is a 3-down guy.

  11. Tennessee Titans- Paris Johnson Jr (OT) Ohio St- It's just a feel with Johnson over Skoronski at this point. Lewan is not getting younger or healthier.

  12. Houston Texans- Quentin Johnson (WR) TCU- Every QB needs a big-time toy. I'm a huge Nico Collins fan and would love this pairing. Don't forget, they may have a bell-cow back.

  13. New York Jets- Peter Skoronski (OT) Northwestern- I'm 90% sure Jumbo Elliott started in Week # 18 with all the injuries.

  14. New England Patriots- Christian Gonzalez (CB) Oregon- In the AFC East, you need as many cover guys as possible.

  15. Green Bay Packers- Michael Mayer (TE) Notre Dame- Mayer is the perfect fit for the Packers. He just compliments the offensive talent so well.

  16. Washington Commanders- Cam Smith (CB) South Carolina- We know the front is elite, but William Jackson didn't work out. It's time to get the back end to a better level.

  17. Pittsburgh Steelers- Joey Porter Jr (CB) Penn State- A position of need with a really talented player and son of a Steelers hero.

  18. Detroit Lions- Trenton Simpson (LB) Clemson- Build the defense with athleticism. This team is going to be a problem.
