2023 NFL Draft- 1st Round Mock with trades

Here is my current 1st Round Mock with trades. I have Lamar Jackson to the Colts for #4 overall and next year #1.

  1. Carolina Panthers- Anthony Richardson (QB) Florida- The E2G article on March 8th had this trade and pick for you. This is the target.

  2. Houston Texans- Will Anderson JR (EDGE) Alabama- You need someone to chase Trevor Lawrence around in Demeco Ryans defense.

  3. Arizona Cardinals- Christian Gonzalez (CB) Oregon- The athletic skills just show the tape is real. It may be a lost season for the Cardinals but here is a great building block.

  4. Baltimore Ravens via Indy (Lamar Jackson trade) Jalen Carter (DL) Georgia- Jalen is off some boards, he replaces Campbell as that interior presence.

  5. Seattle Sehahawks via Broncos- Tyree Wilson (EDGE) Texas Tech- He'll come in Day one and make a difference so in season calls to Bruce Irvin don't happen anymore.

  6. Tennessee Titans via Lions from Rams- C.J Stroud (QB) Ohio St- New regime, Willis didn't work out, they can free up half (about 18 million) on Tanneyhill.

  7. Las Vegas Raiders- Bryce Young (QB) Alabama- QB of the future with Jimmy G ready for the first month (Hopefully).

  8. Atlanta Falcons- Paris Johnson JR (OT) Ohio St- I'm a Desmond Ridder guy and this is nice protection for Ridder. Fontenot has done a solid job with this group.

  9. Chicago Bears- Peter Skoronski (OT) Northwestern- He will be given the shot at LT. The only knock is measurables but the type of offense could negate that.

  10. Philadelphia Eagles via Saints- Bijan Robinson (RB) Texas- Absolute gift to be NFC Champs and have pick # 10. Hurts and he could make magic on zone reads/rpo's.

  11. Detroit Lions via Titans- Devon Witherspoon (CB) Illinois- Alpha male on the outside to help set a tone for this Defense.

  12. Houston Texans via Browns- Will Levis (QB) Kentucky- Big armed QB who gets a nice group of offensive weapons to play with in Houston.

  13. New York Jets- Broderick Jones (OT) Georgia- Aaron Rodgers protection if he doesn't decide to go live on the moon.

  14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers via Patriots- Lukas Van Ness (EDGE) Iowa- The Bucs aren't starting from complete scratch but its time to pay the piper.

  15. Green Bay Packers- Darnell Washington (TE) Georgia- First TE off the board might be a shocker. He fills so many boxes for Love and the new look Packers.

  16. Washington Commanders- Michael Mayer (TE) Notre Dame- Solid all around TE that it feels like they haven't had in Washington since Chris Cooley.

  17. Pittsburgh Steelers- Joey Porter Jr (CB) Penn St- Wave the towels, play some renegade, a legends son is coming home to the Steel City.

  18. Detroit Lions- Myles Murphy (EDGE) Clemson- Hutchinson and Murphy, makes the back ends job even easier.

  19. New England Patriots via Buccaneers- Zay Flowers (WR)-Boston College- He's such a weapon in the mold of CeeDee Lamb or Deebo Samuel. Outside/inside threat.

  20. Seattle Seahawks- Jaxon Smith-Njibga (WR) Ohio St- Perfect fit with Lockett and Metcalf.

  21. L.A Chargers- Dalton Kincaid (TE) Utah- They need a young player to grow with Herbert at this position. Nice all-around fit.

  22. Baltimore Ravens- Brian Branch (DB) Baltimore- I love the combination with Kyle Hamilton and Marlon Humphrey.

  23. Minnesota Vikings- Calijah Kancey (DL) Pitt- Maybe it's too much of my Aaron Donald love but I feel like this is a Top 3 pick of this draft in 10 years.

  24. Jacksonville Jaguars- Deonte Banks (CB) Maryland- Coverage against the elite teams in the AFC, the door the Jags are about to enter.

  25. New York Giants- Quentin Johnson (WR) TCU- Big target in Daboll offense for Daniel Jones. Play to his strengths.

  26. Dallas Cowboys- Kelee Ringo (CB) Georgia- Versatility in the secondary, he's slid but still has that closeout intereception ability.

  27. Buffalo Bills- O'Cyrus Torrence (IOL) Florida- Protecting Josh Allen because he brings enough hits on himself. Day one starter.

  28. Cincinnati Bengals- Darnell Wright (OT) Tennessee- Just get Burrow protection, Jonah Williams situation is one to monitor.

  29. New Orleans Saints via Broncos from 49ers- Bryan Bresee (DL) Clemson- This should be his full back health year after injury.

  30. Philadelphia Eagles- Nolan Smith (EDGE) Georgia- Hey Jordan Davis, do you know this guy?? Can you outrun him too?

  31. Kansas City Chiefs- Jordan Addison (WR) USC- Nice piece for Mahomes and the champs offense.

Any support or debate @e2gfounder
