What are the Habs getting in Owen Beck? Feisty two-way center with great speed and who is terrific on face offs. Middle six projection. #NHLDraft — Brock Otten (@BrockOtten) July 8, 2022

2-41) Buffalo Sabres: Topias Leinonen

NHL Scouting Report: He has had his ups and downs overseas, but has some potential to be really good. Topias Leionen is probably the best goalie in the 2022 NHL Draft and will see how it all plays out when the time comes for Leinonen and needs more reps.

First goalie of the draft goes to BUF at 41, Topias Leinonen — NHL News (@PuckReportNHL) July 8, 2022
2-48) Seattle Kraken: Jani Nyman
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 212 lbs
Last Amateur Club: Ilves
League: Finland
Age: 17
Stats: 10 games, 0 goals, 1 assist, plus/minus rating 0.
Scouting Report: He has scored goals in other leagues in the past and has a wicked shot from the right side on the power play, but needs to work on his skating ability and is very raw. Jani Nyman is not a part of a very strong right-winger class but could be good value in the later second round and if available in the third round, he could be a potential steal.
NHL Comp: Travis Konecny
